Overview

So we did it again and it happened again: The robots won. But in truth what we realized is the humans actually struck back.

And that's because this time both teams had access to AI. So the only differentiating factor was the different humans we had on each team.

This year's APG AI Battle sought to explore a very different question: Does AI simply expands skills you already have or can give you new skills? In the end, it was determined that, for now at least, it does the former far better than the latter but if we run this experiment in another 18 months, who knows?

Congratulations to PK Lawton, CSO, Sister Merci and Andrew Kohn, Strategy Director, John St for pulling together the best new business pitch for the fictitious launch of Tinder for Old People. And special thanks to Katey Gault, VP Strategy, UM and Kelvin Mak, VP Innovation and Intelligence, UM for an equally awesome deck delivered in just 2 hours.

For your viewing pleasure, we have uploaded the decks from both teams here.
