Bensimon Byrne is looking for an Experience Planner, a strategic storyteller who works with every team across the agency, ensuring that everything we create always puts our consumer first.

Consumer Experience The Experience Planner is responsible for putting the consumer first in our creative thinking. Where are they? How are they moving between channels? What are they thinking, feeling and doing when they experience what we create?

  • Insight: proven ability to derive insight from multiple data sources (social, search, analytics, media, qual/quant). Is not required to collate data.
  • Segmentation & Journey Planning: ability to segment the audience based on data, define the core personas and the related consumer journeys.

Digital Catalyst The Experience Planner has a deep spike in all things digital, whether that’s storytelling, experience or utility design across all channels: media, social, display, content and upcoming platforms (VR, livestreaming, context…). They are able to engage and inspire creatives to expand their big ideas into new digital territories.

User Experience The Experience Planner intuitively understands the vision for all digital experiences coming out of the creative process. They encode the vision into a blueprint and work to transition the thinking to the digital design and engineering teams.

  • UX Strategy: ability to communicate and present the overarching UX strategy that includes the idea, user types, problems to solve and business benefit as well as client ROI.
  • Blueprints: ability to create high level site maps, user flows and wireframes.

Desired Skills and Experience
You’ve got 5-8+ years experience working on Consumer Experience / User Experience projects, and are interested designing how the overall story (creative idea) jumps and evolves across all media platforms (content, display, social, experience, utility, etc…). You’re also always a step in-front, aware of and communicating the opportunities presented by new platforms, new experiences.

You need to be proven in storytelling yourself. Have a great ability to craft, communicate and present ideas both internally and to clients. You’re able to build trust with clients and able to lead them through projects. Internally, you’re a collaborator who’s comfortable working as the conduit for many teams across the agency.
