Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, the Senior Digital Strategist will work with Planning, Account Service, Creative, and Social/Community Management teams to develop, manage and execute digital programs. The candidate must think strategically, have a passion for developing creative and be holistic digital planner. The ideal candidate must have a fundamental understanding of the executional realities of the technology behind the campaigns and a passion to inspire breakthrough communications that drive change.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital strategist within the strategy group
  • Work within the integrated planning group to develop and execute digital strategies across clients
  • Research, develop, and pitch digital campaigns (including mobile and social) and services to existing and new clients
  • Manage client expectations and approval regarding digital, social and mobile programs
  • Act as a digital thought leader and subject matter expert, both internally and externally, collaborating with all account service and creative teams and developing relationships with vendors
  • Oversee and manage post-campaign reporting, ongoing analytics, and insight generation for all digital clients, including collaboration with media partners
  • Internal and client education regarding digital, mobile and social media, platforms, regulations and technologies.
  • Development of POVs, both general and client specific, on a wide range of topics related to digital, social and mobile
  • Responsible for developing project or account strategy, including integration between different FCB executional disciplines, collaborating with teams to develop integrated program concepts

Requirements:

  • 8+ years with a Strong background in digital, including mobile, web builds and social media
  • Culturally curious and on the pulse of emerging trends in technology and ability to apply to businesses
  • True passion for the creative product Active participant in social media platforms, abreast of current and upcoming developments in the digital space
  • Strong background in fuelling client relationships
  • Familiarity with standard analytics and social listening platforms for development of insights and post-campaign reporting
  • Strong presenter, comfortable demonstrating new ideas, and explaining new processes to others, internally and externally
